As a result of recently revised legislation (UK Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act) employers (and now more directly, managers and directors of a company) have a Duty of Care to ensure the safety of employees driving for work purposes.  The revised legislation makes it easier to prosecute large and medium sized organisations. 

Consequently, STR Service Centre have seen a considerable increase in the number of companies requesting that they carry out regular vehicle checks and also routine on-site vehicle checks for company and employees cars.
